HEY JUDE

ADIDAS

Turning a chant
into a national anthem.

For decades, England has lived in the same rhythm: hope rising every tournament, only to fall short when it mattered most. Near miss after near miss had turned national optimism into a familiar kind of heartbreak.

So we brought two forces together that already carried weight: a player who embodied the future—Jude Bellingham—and a song borne from the nation itself: “Hey Jude.” A song already sung in the stands, suddenly aligned with the moment. Every lyric somehow feeling like it had been written for the occasion.

What began as scattered chants became something larger: The song moved from terraces to timelines, from stadium noise to national soundtrack. A handful of voices became millions. And for a nation used to disappointment, the campaign didn’t promise victory—it restored belief.
