adidas Basketball was chasing a league dominated by Nike and its constellation of stars. Every narrative had been claimed. Every archetype had been cast. For a challenger brand with a fraction of the budget, following the conversation would only widen the gap.

Enter Anthony Edwards. At 22, he brought something the game had been missing: joy. Swagger without calculation. Play without apology. We turned that attitude into a rallying cry—Believe That.

From there, we “Ant-agonized” the calendar. Every cultural moment became an opportunity to instigate, not react—dropping content alongside the moments shaping Ant’s orbit: albums releasing, fashion weeks erupting, playoff runs unfolding.
